Ferrari F450 car specs

The Ferrari F450 will use a modified chassis and body from the F430. The F450 will have a more aggressive look and engine, with some components in the bodywork and chassis borrowed from the F430. It will be powered by a 4.6 Liter V8 with 520 HP, which will make the Ferrari F450 more powerful than the factory tuned F430 Scuderia. Ferrari is working on lots of new technologies and there is speculation as to which ones will debut with the F450. F1 is to play a prominent role in the new equipment system, with an KERS-like energy recovery system, dual-clutch 7-speed transmission and understeer-cancelling driving software potentially making their virgin show. The Ferrari F450 can be the first car to incorporate KERS. Used on Formula One racers, the kinetic energy recovery system makes energy saved from braking into extra power.The Ferrari F450, which is regarded as a replacement of current Ferrari F430 is reported to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September with UK sales starting in 2010.
